Find open Form 470 competitive bids matching your products and track your E-Rate sales pipeline.

Who this is for

Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and system integrators who sell equipment and services to schools and libraries through E-Rate. This tool replaces manual Form 470 searching and spreadsheet-based pipeline tracking.

Bid Prospecting

The first tab lets you find open competitive bids.

Search options: - Keyword — entity name, application number, or service description - State — filter by state to find local opportunities - Service Category — Category 1, Category 2, or any

Click Search to query the USAC Form 470 database live. Results show application number, entity name, state, funding year, service category, status, and allowable contract date.

Adding to pipeline: Click Add to Pipeline on any result row. You can add optional notes before saving.

If a bid is already in your pipeline, it shows an "In Pipeline" badge instead.

My Pipeline

The second tab shows all bids you're tracking.

Pipeline statuses:

StatusMeaning
ProspectingIdentified the bid, not yet submitted
Bid SubmittedProposal sent to the applicant
WonContract awarded to you
LostBid awarded to a competitor

Updating status: Use the dropdown in the Status column — changes save automatically.

Notes: Click the notes field to edit inline — saves on blur.

Summary cards at the top show counts for each status so you can see your pipeline at a glance.

Export: Click Export Excel to download your full pipeline as a spreadsheet.
