What is a Form 470?
A Form 470 is the competitive bidding request an E-Rate applicant files before selecting a service provider. It opens a 28-day competitive bidding window during which vendors can submit proposals.
How to search
By entity name: Search by school district or library name. Supports partial matches.
By application number: Enter the 9-digit Form 470 application number for an exact match.
By BEN: Enter a Billed Entity Number to find all 470s from a specific applicant.
By state: Use the state dropdown to browse all Form 470s filed in a state.
Natural language: Type "open bids from LA Unified" or "Category 2 fiber bids in Texas" — the AI extracts entity name, state, and category automatically.

Finding linked 471s

Status meanings
- ·Open — currently accepting vendor bids
- ·Certified — the 28-day window has closed; applicant has certified
- ·Closed / Expired — no longer active
